So, I should have done my first Week #3 workout yesterday. But, yesterday turned into a eating, laziness failure. I blame my long, busy weekend and general exhaustion level.
But, I did manage to get back on track today.
Today is the first in the 6 week "muscle building" portion of the LiveFit program. So, lower reps and heavier weights are recommended. And, it was leg day.
I did increase my weights by about 10 lbs. per exercise and was still able to get through three sets of 10 each. I see this as progress...go me!!
This exercise made me realize I really need to work on my balance:
I'm not quite sure I got in 3 complete sets, cause I was pretty wobbly.
Some other observations...I did Jazzercise over the weekend, and noticed that even though I haven't been doing any cardio, that cardio workout was much easier. And, I have also noticed my abs hurting a bunch...even though ab exercises so far have been pretty limited...those whole body lifts really all whole body.
Legs are shaking now...
