So, I made it through all the Week #1 workouts.
I have to say, that by far, shoulder exercises suck the most. Or, maybe, I should just say that my shoulders are the weakest.
Triceps: 8-10 Lb. weights
Biceps: 8 Lb. weights
Shoulders: 5 Lb. weights, and it still hurt like a SOB.
Oh well...on to next week.
I can't believe that I don't have to work out for three days. Which meant that I got to sleep in until 6am this morning. It was glorious. I may "cheat" and go to Jazzercise on Sunday though.
Will have to wait and see how the the ole' muscles feel. Cause right now I pretty darn sore.
By "pretty darn sore" I mean that sitting down to pee is a really big challenge right now!!
So, on Tuesday, I finally took some "Before" pictures. Well, right now they are "now" pictures, but I am hoping to have "after" pictures to match with them at some point.
Wow...are they scary. I want to post them...but, I think I'll wait until I have a few weeks of progress.
The other night I was chatting with a friend about obesity and food quality in America. I've been thinking about this alot lately, since I have started reading labels and realized just how much crap is in processed foods...even the ones which are supposed to be good for you. Have you ever read the ingredients on a Nutrigrain bar? Holy crap...I thought there were supposed to be good for you. They have the word "Nutri" in the name for God's sake.
Here is an interesting article on how government policies contribute to this mess:

OK...ok...I'll get off my soapbox now.
Happy Friday!!
